And this would be proof yet again, that I am fine with running as long as I am promised decent and or cheap (read free) food and beer at the finish.
I guess this means I have plans that weekend.
My Aunt and Uncle have a condo in Ocean City so I was very seriously contemplating this race until I started reading the fine print. Then it became a no-brainer. Free food and 3 free beers = I’m in.
POST RACE FESTIVITIES
The post race party will be held at the Francis Scott Key Motel. We will have use of their indoor pool and outdoor pavilion area. There will be plenty of food, refreshments, beer, etc.
All snack style items such as bananas, bagels, cookies, water, sodas, etc. will be complimentary. One meal plate and three beers (6 oz draft each) will be given to each participant, after this initial complimentary meal and beer, additional meals and beer will be available for purchase at a price of $3.00 per meal plate, $0.50 per beer. All family members and friends are also welcome to meals and beer at these fees.
Come on! Do you see these prices? 50 cent beers! 3 dollar meals!
Also these just came out not long ago. I love the back image of the inner harbor on the under armour symbol. I really want one of these puppies.
